Hello Friends,
I haven't made bumpy bags like these for many, many years! Even then I only made a few. Both of these were made from vintage hand-woven skirts. The colors are rich and varied. The bumps are created by using a resist method. I tie circular forms into the wool. Then when I wash the wool, it shrinks but the wool that is resisted (has a form in it) does not. Anyway, it is a cool effect and both of these bags would become a conversation piece you would enjoy for years. They are also a dramatic elongated shape, perfect to hold everything you might need for a night out. I'll be in touch soon.
