This piece of wool was a part of a skirt set that was sold in the 50's and 60's.   A woman would purchase a kit that contained a yard of wool, the lining and the zipper .  Well the blue and purple weave won me over in a minute.  This bumpy bag was made using shibori tecniques.  The texture of the fabric is perminately changed, there is nothing under the balls.  This one is lined with a vintage silk scarf that has children playing on it.  There is a little silk pocket.

A note on the color. The first picture captures the true color.

This bag has a 12 inch frame and flares slightly to 13.5 inches at the bottom.  It is 6 inches tall and 3.5 inches wide.  Straps are 22 inches long.
