Pills & Needles Dress
I always hoped that the things I make to sell would buy me some time to make things I just want to make. This dress is a self portrait and making meant a lot to me.
My grandmother told me many times, if you have a piece of wool bigger than a postage stamp, do not throw it away. This year, as an homage to my grandmother, I saved any cashmere scraps (from making gloves) that were over 2.5 inches square and this is what I made.
