HAPPY NEW YEAR!
My grandmother used to say, if you have a piece of wool bigger than a postage stamp, don't throw it away. In memory of my Grandma Mendenhall, this year, I decided that all of my cashmere scraps (from making gloves) that were bigger than 2 1/2 sq inches would have a second life in this blanket. It just keeps growing...and there are still more squares, in waiting.

I am trying to become more aware of waste. Under Greta's icy stare, 60 degree days in December and the mad excess of Christmas it is hard not to.
All of this is at the core of range of emotion. Buy one beautiful and well-made thing and use it for many years. It was great fun to see many of you at the winter market doing just that!
My best, Jenae
