Winter 2026

This group of bags are a homage to the work of Christo and Jeanne Claude. In 1957, Christo went to Paris and met Jeanne Claude, who became his wife, life partner in the creation of monumental environmental works of art.  My bags represent three of those works:  The Gates in NYC, 1979-2005, Valley Curtain in Colorado, 1970-72 and Running Fence in California, 1972-1976.

I admire the courage to do such enormous work, the use of fabric and wind and color and I really love the ethereal nature of the work, most works were up for around ten days.  Then gone.

This is a DOT bag, it is the medium sized, everyday bag that seems to work for most women.  It is 7 inches tall,  10 inches across and 5 inches width.  It has a high quality magnetic snap and a metal frame that overlaps like an old fashioned Doctor's bag.  It is secure and very durable.
