This bag is made from 1950's barkcloth that was originally drapery.  I found it in NYC a few months ago.  This is an EVELYN bag, it is a large everyday bag.  It measures 10 inches tall, 13 inches across and 4.5 inches in width.  It has a high quality magnetic snap and a metal frame that overlaps like an old fashioned Doctor's bag.  It is secure and very durable.
